Dr. Ari Gladstein is a double-board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint preservation and reconstruction. He is currently practicing in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Ari Gladstein is a double board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and an active member of both the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
Dr. Gladstein completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore/Einstein, followed by fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He further refined his expertise through an additional fellowship in adult and pediatric sports medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
For eight years, Dr. Gladstein practiced pediatric orthopedics at Texas Children’s Hospital, where he focused on sports medicine and fracture care. His clinical interests include ACL repair, reconstruction, and revision; meniscal surgery; cartilage restoration; multi-ligament knee reconstruction; patellar stabilization; and arthroscopic shoulder procedures. He is highly experienced in both operative and non-operative fracture management.
In recognition of his dedication to his patients, Baylor College of Medicine honored Dr. Gladstein with the Early Career Award for Excellence in Patient Care. He achieved the rank of Associate Professor of Orthopedics and has been deeply involved in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. He also served as Head Team Physician for the Aldine Independent School District, caring for athletes at all levels.
Dr. Gladstein joined Orthopaedic Associates, LLP in 2025 and is pleased to provide comprehensive orthopedic care to patients of all ages.
